I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education with certifications in special education, learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, and behavior disordered from Southeastern Louisiana University. I received my master's in educational leadership from UNO. Before coming to SEAS, I was a special education teacher for 11 years. I joined the faculty here in 1989 as a middle school teacher, and I have also been middle school coordinator, school disciplinarian, and assistant principal. I became principal in 2007. Both of my children are graduates of SEAS. While they were students I was active and involved in the Home and School Association, and served as president . My husband and I have been parishioners here for more than 25 years. I have been involved in nearly every facet of the SEAS community, and have found every experience to be rewarding and fulfilling!
