I have a bachelor's degree in home economics with concentration in child, family, and social sciences from Nicholls State University. I received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction/reading specialist from UNO. I was a kindergarten and a 1st grade teacher before coming to SEAS. I taught religious education to third graders and was a member of the parish RCIA team preparing adults to receive the sacraments of the Catholic Church. I am an active member of Divine Mercy Parish. I am part of the the Children's Liturgy of the Word Ministry. I am an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and bring communion to residents at Chateau Living Center. I have been a 1st grade teacher at SEAS since 2008. It is a true blessing to be able to make a difference in the lives of children every day!
